7 things to love about the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is getting crazy positive reviews everywhere and I’m sure most of you are wondering if it lives up to the up. I been using a review unit from Verizon wireless for a days and my answer is YES! It surely does live up to the hype and its hard to say if any other phone will come close to being better. Here are my 7 reasons to love the Galaxy S7 Edge.

The curved screen

The 5.5 screen in the Edge S7 has a resolution of 1440×2560 and it is a BIG deal. You can put this phone next to all the other latest phones and it will stand out above the rest in the best way posible. The curved edges make everything on the screen pop in a way that is hard to describe. You gotta see it to believe it. I would say that this screen is the main reason to switch if you’re thinking about it.

Game capture

The S7 has a built in a feature called “Game Tools”. It makes the mobile gaming experience a bit better by blocking notifications and helping you avoid hitting the botton touch buttons by mistakes. The ability to record in game footage is really handy for youtubers or people who just love to share footage. You can use your front facing camera and it records from the mic. The Youtube Gaming app allows all android users to record gameplay and stream it to youtube but GameTools on the S7 has a bit more options when it comes to video quality.

S7 Edge

I never damaged my phone from getting it wet but its something I worry about. At this point, All phones should be Water-resistant but the S7 is and Samsung has made this feature very well known in its advertising campaign.

S7 Wireless

Expandable memory

Having expandable memory is another feature that every phone should have but Apple completely ignores this feature. HD videos and games take up a lot of space very quickly so having a Micro SD slot is a no brainier. The S7 can take in a 200gb Micro SD and in most places you can get a 120 gb for under $100.

Wireless charging

Personally, I hate letting people borrow my charging cables because they almost never give back to me. Wireless charging solves that problem and is super convenient. Its on the S7 and in the near future restaurants will have Wireless charging built into their tables.

S7 Edge

The camera

I will talk about the S7 Edge’s camera in another blog post but for now, Lets run down the camera specs.

Sexy design

Did I just call the Galaxy S7 Edge Sexy? Yes… The design of this phone is pretty amazing when you look at the details. The body is shiny which is normally something I don’t like but it has personality. Like someone who walks in the room and all eyes are on them. Its so slim that I would not believe it has 4gb of ram and all day battery life. All the top reviewers are saying that the Galaxy S7 is the best smart phone on the market right now and I agree with them. Years ago I felt the galaxy phones did not stand out enough but with the S7, This phone is in a league of its own.
