It's about time I listed off some of my favorite Virtual Reality games. 2018 is going to be a big year for VR especially as we head into CES 2018. New headsets like the Oculus GO will make VR more affordable than before. There is plenty to get excited about and if you don't know where to start, I made a list of my must play games. Keep in mind that all of these games are on Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, I will do a separate list for PlayStation VR.
Rick and Morty VR
This might be the best video game based off of a TV show. It has everything you loved from the show in an easy to pick up VR experience. I got stuck on a few puzzles but it was fun to fail and explore secrets. I noticed some people complained about the price tag but I still think it's worth it. It has replay value and it's fun to watch your friends play as well.
Fruit Ninja VR
I’m just most people will look at me sideways for including Fruit Ninja on this list but it is one of the most simple and fun VR games.
Space Pirate Trainer
This was the first game I played on the HTC Vive and I instantly fell in love with it. IN Space Pirate Trainer you get to use both controllers are your weapons. You can switch between them at any time during the game. One hand could be used as a shield and the other would be your blaster. My advice is to move around to dodge.
Before Rick and Morty VR, There was Job Simulator by Owlchemy Labs. I’m not even sure how to describe this game the right way. Just put on the headset and start doing random things. Be on the look out for Vacation Simulator coming out later in the year.
It’s not perfect but it is a step forward in bringing higher quality games to VR.
Music and fitness come together in Sound Boxing. It’s like rockband but instead of pushing buttons on a fake guitar, You’re punching the music notes. The less you miss, The higher your score.
Killing Floor incursion
What sets this game apart from other VR shooters is co-op and the over the action. Bring a friend along to blast your way past zeds or have fun exploring the detailed levels. Now is a great time to job in with the new “Holdout Horde Mode” update.

Batman Arkham VR
It feels like people forgot about this game but Batman Arkham VR delivers on the promise of feeling like Batman in the crazy world of Gotham. Thew first few minutes of putting on the Bat suit for the first time is worth it alone.
Bonus: Mario Kart VR
Only playing in Tokyo you play Mario Kart VR and it looks epic! No word on if it will be available in the US but at least this shows a bright future for Nintendo in VR. Maybe they could bring it to Nintendo NY!
