Acronis recently held an event for the launch of their personal backup software called True Image 2017. I was impressed with the demonstration so I wanted to recap what the software does for those of you that are interested. A big thanks to GetGeeked for sending out the invites for this event. Summarizing is pretty simple, It backups your data on almost any device. It works on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and it even backups your facebook data. We never want to think about losing our data but it happens all the time. Acronis can store your data locally on a external hard drive or in the cloud. Its always safe practice to have more than one copy of your backed up data.

Three to six times faster on Windows computers than competing products for backing up and recovering using an external USB 3.0 drive. 30% faster than Apple Time Machine on Apple computers. 60% faster than previous versions of Acronis True Image in popular scenarios.

Acronis True Image 2017 is available for purchase starting at $39 for a 1-computer subscription, and $49 for 1-computer license.

I got to try out Formula 1 2016 on a awesome PlayStation 4 racing rig. Acronis is a partner of the Scuderia Toro Rosso Formula 1 Racing Team so it made sense to demo this game along with plenty of Redbull.
