For this gift guide, I decided to pick 5 fitness gadgets that can help almost anyone reach their new fitness goals. This list was going to be 10 gadgets but I listed off 5 cause I wanted to showcase gadgets I would use in my personal life.

Vi A.I. Fitness Tracker

Vi goes above playing music and tracking your heart rate. It is like having a trainer with you. The earphones can monitor your stats and provide feedback on how you’re doing. During the Fall Luxury Technology Show, I experienced a small demo or the voice inside of the earphones. The women sounded friendly and encouraging which is something you don’t get from other fitness devices. You can program her to learn your name and your fitness goals. Even more impressive is that Vi is getting better with new updates.

Hidrate Spark 2.0 Smart Water Bottle

A new year’s resolution could be as simple as drinking more water. This Smart Water Bottle will keep track of how much you drink and helps you meet your daily hydration goal. The bottle glows red when it is time to hydrate and it can send notifications to your phone. It can also Integrate with Fitbit, Apple Watch, and other activity trackers.

Muse: The Brain Sensing Headband

Meditation is a handful of mental health benefits and it only takes a few minutes a day. During a recent tech event, I got to see Muse in person and chat about how it works. Muse measures whether your mind is calm or active, and translates that data into weathers sounds. Within time, You’ll get better at Meditation by practicing your breathing and keeping track of your progress in the app.

GoBe 2 Smart Life Band

This fitness tracker is different from Fitbit or Apple watch cause it automatically measures calorie intake, hydration levels, and emotional state. GoBe 2 uses an impedance sensor to automatically monitor calorie intake and hydration levels non-invasively through the skin on your wrists. An improved algorithm tracks this data to give users a real look at their numbers over time so that they can manage their eating habits. I haven’t got to try it out in person (YET) but it looks promising. I have my own fitness goals for 2018 and The GOBE 2 would be my choice. It is available now.

Stealth Body Fitness

A few days ago I did a post about how a middle school is using Stealth Body Fitness in the gym class. It made me happy to see video games being used in a positive way. We could all use some motivation so the Stealth Body Fitness uses your smartphone to monitor your workout.
