Samsung is already making waves with some new tech that is coming soon! First up, Let’s take a look at some new TVs launching in 2018.

Modular MicroLED TV

At CES 2018, Samsung unveiled what is in the future for displays. “The Wall” is the world’s largest TV at 146”, Who wouldn’t want this in their living room? It is made up of smaller screens that are modular. The displays connect together to create one image. This is also the first consumer display that uses MicroLED technology. In short, MicroLED means that each pixel is self-immolating. The benefit of this is that you’ll see the deepest blacks in this display. Samsung is also getting ready for the future by using Artificial IntellIntelligence technology in their displays to upscale lower resolution content 8K.

New curved monitor

With Thunderbolt 3 Connectivity you can connect your PC with a single cable to this new monitor. The connection will allow for transfer speeds up to 40 Gbps, This is about four times faster than USB 2.0. This new curved monitor has a 21:9 aspect ratio, and 3440×1440 ultra-wide QHD resolution. It’s easy to spot the difference when you see it in person. The biggest standout feature is obviously the curved display’s design. It has an ultra-wide 178-degree viewing angle that adds a unique level of immersion for everyday computing tasks.

Galaxy S9

We have to end this list with the Galaxy S9, Samsung recently sent out invites for an upcoming press event. We will hear all about it on February 25, 2018, During Mobile World Congress. The invitation teases some major improvements to the camera. Rumored features include facial recognition, front facing speakers, and an improved display.
