Like must Star Wars fans, I already watched the Battlefront II trailer multiple times and it blew away my expectations. Before I get into my thoughts/reactions, Lets get the official details out of the way. StarWars Battlefront II was announced during Celebration Orlando. It will launch on November 17 for PS4, Xbox One, and Steam. Below is the official trailer.
The first Battlefront game was great in its own right but it needed a single player campaign . I am not the type to play online with other people, Its just not for me but I stil enjoyed Battlefront. The graphics was amazing, it was action packed and provided plenty of nostalgia. Now we have Battlefront II and the first major difference is that we have a single player campaign with a brand new female lead character. Janina Gavankar will be providing the voice for the Inferno Squad Commander named Iden Versioand.

It looks like they 3D scanned her face for the game. I instantly knew it was her before she confirmed it on her twitter. I loved watching her on some of my favorite shows like True Blood and Arrow so maybe I am a bit basis. You gotta admit that the detail on her face is pretty impressive.
I wont go into all the details about the story mode cause the PlayStation Blog already done it. Long story short, This game looks nothing short of epic and it has the oppertunity to do something different in the StarWars universe. It looks like there will not be a season pass for this game so that is a plus. There is a pre-order bonus that includes “The Last Jedi” so it might be worth it.
The first Battlefront was a big deal for PC gaming. It was one of those games that tech reviewers used to benchmark their systems. Expect to see Nvidia and AMD showing off this game at different events to hardcore PC gamers. Personally, I can’t wait to see how it looks in 4K 60 fps, That might require a graphics card like the GTX 1080 TI but I am planning to do a PC build videos very soon so be on the look out for that. E3 2017 is right around the corner and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some more Multi-player gameplay and maybe even a VR mode for PS4? Who knows, Maybe we wont have to wait till June. May the 4th is just a few weeks away. Its all very exciting stuff.
