The first official day of TwitchCon started out some big news for streamers. Over the next few months Twitch users will notice new features poping up. One feature that I am personally excited about is Achievements. This allows streamers to track how they can improve their channel and hopefully become an official partner. Streamers spend many hours building up their channel, Achievements is a great way to keep everyone on track to meet their goals. You can read all about the other upcoming features on the official Twitch blog.
Me and Gizelle spend the day focused on the tech booths. So far my personal favorite was the Lenovo Legion booth. They had a bunch of gaming PCs setup running the Evil Within 2. Towards the back they had Star Wars: Jedi Challenges so its pretty obvious how they won me over.

Big shout out to Aver Media for giving me a hands on demo on the Live Gaming Portable. I will have a review and interview posted soon. For now ill just say that it is one of the easiest way to stream and record your gameplay.
We also got to check out the latest gaming glasses from Gunner. Protecting your eyes while playing never looked this good.
Razer showed off their new webcam that gives streaming better lighting in a small and portable form factor. Its call Razer Kiyo and it is available now for $99. This is perfect for someone like me who doesn’t want to have huge lights in my room just to do a video.
I also stopped by the Blue Microphone and did a cool interview on there 3 flagship microphones for streamers and professionals. Stay tuned for that.
